DEGEM has a DNV Certified (DNV-CP-0352) workshop. In line with the demands of our major customers, we have a totally closed workshop within Yalova Shipyard Region which is very close to the pier. This layout ensures that production is carried out in a safe, protected, and fast manner and allows the completed product to be transferred easily to the customer by sea.
Steel Fabrication & Workshop Equipment
The 3,000 m² Yalova Workshop is equipped with CNC cutting machine, jigs for block production, and other equipment needed for forming steel structures. Inside the workshop, 2x 10 tonnes of gantry crane enable the transfer of heavy components. Pipe & mechanical workshops and a blasting hall are also located nearby the workshop.
Pier & Loading Facilities
Products fabricated at Degem Workshop can be loaded to a ship or a barge which can be berthed to the pier having 170 mt x 12 mt dimensions. Cranes having 15 tonnes of SWL are available on the pier for loading products to ships, providing easy transfer of the finished product to the customer by sea.
